We used to have that same problem at my house my brother worked out how to fix it, when you press the ~ it brings up the box, type in your cheat then to close it you have to press ~ and the game won't freeze.

Well according to the vampire masquerade roleplaying book you have to feed a ghoul at least every month, so sometimes when you do a few quests and go back to your haven heather is starving for your vitae.

Also Venus says come back every couple of days to collect your money in the game ...

I uninstalled the vampire bloodlines game from my computer and i re-installed it recently i tried to install the patch as well but it said the patch cannot be re-installed as it is already on. But when i go to the society of leopold the game crashes on me! i tried to uninstall the game again ...
