That story sounds oddly familiar. Maybe it's Deja Vu... Did it have something to do with a guy donning a suit a spiked armour, causing the worm to kill itself when it tried to crush him in its coils?

I vaguely remember it from when I was a kid.

I'm just an escapist...

I've always been drawn to the Fantasy genre, and believe that RPGs are the only way to 'port' a good book onto the PC. I suppose that the story factor plays the most important role for me.
