If you have tried the advice from the other thread about updating your game, make sure you connect to "internet or gamespy", but try this in addition to you updating, zip your save games, then update your game after that, unzip you games back into your save folder, I hope it works for you.

I beg to differ, I have have a mage that has 2 auto cast spells, criple & drown, naturally she is the first to be attacked because all the bad guys just hate being cursed. I think it works because both curses are not from the same family.

There is a nice skill your ranger can develop "Slience" use it often but only when you have taken down his defences. Have fun!

I remember reading that the game developer now uses an updater when you switch to multi-player. I remember the first DS updating the game that way. Have you tried connecting to multi-player? Try it and see what happens.

My Party is pretty simple

Not sure, but it is possible that low resources could be your problem. Try this...Start DS2, go to options and set the game priority to 'on', close the game and start over...Let me know if this works. By the way, what kind of system do you have, including o/s?

Oh I forgot...if you have more than one person loging into you pc make sure you are logged in using the same login when you first created your character...Good Luck
