I may be using my portal stones incorrectly. Can you please help with this. One time is says portal stone may not be working, then another 'I'd better drop this if I want to get back.' Don't know what I am doing incorrectly. Thanks

I can't seem to get the note to give King Dunatrim implicating Gregor in stolen axe of the stone to even trigger quest. Gregor won't accept the ale from Rimmer. Thank you for help gargantua, but I was talking about the room in the basement where I'm supposed to get the ale. I can't get that door open (where finnegan (sp)) is behind the bar. Is that where book is too? Again thanks.

They are all outlined in grey and I can't seem to use them like freeze etc. I can't pick up herbs etc. even though I'm on level three of alchemy which is a passive skill. Can you help? Thanks in advance. Also thank you for wardrummer advice.

How do I kill one of these things?

I cannot get the hang of selling or buying from shopkeepers. I try to buy a potion and it doesn't appear in my inventory...the same with weapons etc. Obviously I am doing something wrong. Can anyone help?
