They are all outlined in grey and I can't seem to use them like freeze etc. I can't pick up herbs etc. even though I'm on level three of alchemy which is a passive skill. Can you help? Thanks in advance. Also thank you for wardrummer advice.
There ain't no passive spells they're all active and need activation. What you're talking about are passive skills, they're working all time in the background. BTW you don't have to fulfill every single quest. There's one main quest to become divine.The other quests are made to level up and get some good fine stuff like armory, weapons, scrolls etc.
