Feat problems

I bought the "Diamond" edition of the game where it has all of the expansions (Original, HotU, etc...) and I'm still in Chapter 2 of the Original Campaign with a Wizard. I have Scribe Scroll and Brew Potion as feats and am thinking about taking Craft Wand next (they all say HotU) and I can't find ...

Rescueing Imoen

So, basically BGII is Rescueing Imoen, killing Irenicus and some adventuring, right?

-So when does everyone rescue Imoen? Can you do it early when you have the cash for the bribing? Or does everyone adventure and complete quests and just get Imoen at the end of the game?

-Is killing/defeating ...

If you drink the Genius potion (I think that's what it's called...to raise your Intelligence for a time) and it allows you to scribe more spells than you had available previously, do you get to keep those spells after your Intelligence drops back down?

You can only go to 17th level as a Wizard and a Sorcerer though, right? What level do you start getting 9th level spells?

And is there an Intelligence level that allows you to learn an unlimited amount of spells (write into your spell book)?

But the Rogue Stone 'Jump' spell ability, like in PnP gaming, doesn't apply to SoA?

Rogue Stone and other magic...

1) So, there are multiple chances for a Rogue Stone, but is there really a 'Jump' spell for the Rogue Stone, or is it just another 'gem'?

2) What level of Wizard/Sorcerer do you have to be to cast 8th, 9th and 10th level magic spells? And how high can you climb as a Wizard and Sorcerer in SoA? (not ...

Additionally (NOW WHAT?): Is selling the wand back to the merchant the only way to recharge it?

Are there other 'charge' items out there and can they be recharged as well?

O.k., so...When you have a wand placed in your 'use item' inventory slot (just below your weapons slots but above your 'general' inventory slots) the wand takes up a single square. Is it in the square itself where the charge count will be since it's not in the description page?

And when you see it ...

First of all: Thanks for the help.

Second: Do 'those' wands have only one charge because they haven't been sold to be recharged? Or is it just that they only have one charge because of location that you recieved them?

Next: When you look at a wand from a merchant, will it say on the description ...

When I Right Click on the wand and it brings up the discription page, it gives damage and range, but no charges. Does that mean it's a single shot wand?

Wands...

The only wands I've had possession of are the ones acquired from Irenicus' prison from the 'great hall' with the traps? After I used them once they disapeared. Are all wands one time uses? In the strategy section for defeating dragons there's a suggestion to use a wand of cloudkill for 4 or 5 shots ...
