So.... now that my thread has gone completely off topic I'll try to redirect it to its original purpose (which, surprisingly, is not to discuss my party and their weapons, though that would make a good discussion, but to discuss strategy for defeating The Ravager) :D

Can someone suggest a possible ...

I actually have Crom Faeyr in one of Korgan's weapon slots, but I don't really think it's as great as its reputation makes it out to be. I don't really need the strength bonus, because I have like all the Ogre Strength girdles, and at the point of the game I am at, Stone/Clay ...

My party consists of:
1. Krynus (PC) - Lvl 25 Neutral Good Conjurer
2. Minsc - Lvl 27
3. Jaheira - Lvl 19 Fighter/Lvl 14 Druid
4. Jan - Lvl 17 Mage/Lvl 23 Theif
5. Nalia - Lvl 25
6. Korgan - Lvl 31

The important equipment each character uses is:
Krynus - Staff of the Magi/Everard's Sling +5, Robe ...

Now how bout helping me with The Ravager?

I need help defeating The Ravager (5th challenge in the Pocket Plane; Large version of Slayer). I have tried using tanks to attack him, but am surrounded by up to 10 bone blades at a time (like Mordenkainen's Sword). I've also tried Time Stop/Improved Alacrity with the Robes of Vecna and Amulet of ...

I did not mean that the 10th level spells were bad. What I meant was that with all the 9th level spells and only a few 9th level slots (until really high levels), your spell selection is slightly limited.

I love Planetars (tho they very easily can go astray... if they even walk into an area spell ...

He doesn't have any loot, tho he is worth 100K XP/char

As well, each of his Maraliths (sp) are worth 23K XP.

Overall, a better approach XP-wise than sealing the Keep with the Scroll of Helm.

Use the Cloak of Mirroring.... and he can't hurt you

I think that the Mage High Level Abilities are lacking compared to the other classes. First of all, whereas most classes have innate abilities as choices, mages can only choose from 10th level spells and one time improvements like Extra X Level Spell (I guess this is probably true for clerics as ...

I missed the first one b/c i only installed the patch around the time i battled Yaga-Shura, and i'm not done ToB yet, but the ones I got were Regeneration for the 2nd challenge and Draw Upon Holy Might for the 3rd.

I'd like to know what the 1st is....

This is the party I've been playing with since the beginning of SoA thru ToB, and I think it works pretty well. It is a pretty balanced group IMO.

1. Krynus (PC) - Conjurer (Neutral Good)
2. Minsc
3. Jaheira
4. Jan
5. Nalia
6. Korgan

It overall is pretty balanced, with 2 tanks, 3 mages, a druid ...

Ahh... that makes sense.... I went to Bodhi instead of the Shadow Thieves...

The best items for the pit fights are the Staff of the Magi, and Cloak of Mirroring. With the two of these, you can go invisible to prevent mage spells as well as attacks, as well as reflect enemy spells (The beholder went down almost instantaneously... )
