Defeated him, no the patched version though.
But i got really annoyed to see no loot nor any exp for killing him. Is this a bug?
I have heard about a golden ioun stone that he was supposed to be carrying...

He doesn't have any loot, tho he is worth 100K XP/char 
As well, each of his Maraliths (sp) are worth 23K XP.
Overall, a better approach XP-wise than sealing the Keep with the Scroll of Helm.
