When I try to see the second page of comments here by clicking on "2" or the "next",

It just takes me to the first page. Any ideas?

FYI, when I zoom the window with Safari, the slideshow black area (where the title should be displayed) doesn't scale and shift properly, blacking out a good chunk of the image.

Note that strength still affects lightsaber damage (once hit) whereas dexterity only affects light saber chance to hit (if the light saber finesse feat is taken).

So, strength is good cause it helps a bit with damage, but just not as helpful all around as dexterity.

You get 1 extra point damage ...

Lightsaber finesse is only good if your dexterity is higher than your strength (which is the right thing to do, if you're a robe wearing jedi).

You can get a MUCH higher armor rating with high dexterity and robes, than with dexterity restricting armor.

I'm playing wizardry 8 for the first time, and I'm loving it. About the same character customization as Arcanum, but you can create you own party of 6!

It's first person though, rather than isometric, but is turned-based. It seems like it's more about combat than story though....

It's not that buggy, if you patch it with the latest official patch.

I've played MUCH buggier games.

The only bug that really annoyed me was freezing during turn based-combat. That really was bad. Save often.

The tribe has been kidnapped and the bridge to Arroyo is gone.

Problem is I stored all my items in Arroyo, and I can't get to them.

Is there a way to get there normally or with cheats?

Or is there a savegame editor I could use to transfer the items into containers in Klammath or ...

Some of the magical enchantments on the item are more powerful if your magic / tech level is more magical. If it says 100% your mage/tech level is high enough to reap all it's benefits.

It depends on whether you're playing on HoF mode or not....

Once you get the tactics down it's not hard, just tedious....

You can turn it on in the confiuration prog.

I make perm saves all the time: after each quest completion, b4 talking to anyone for the first time, b4 and after level ups, etc...

If that's too much for you, a simple strategy is to make a perm save for each first time you go through an area transition. You'll never lose much if you need to ...

I think it only works well with vanilla, and near to vanilla games.
