Just a thought, but why do so many people glorify these rare weapons?

Seems to me that the scimitar would be a worthier investment to put your proficiency slots in.

The 1d10 is better than the 1d8 of the scimitar but there are only two katanas worth noting.

do wild mages get the extra spell each level?
or is that just specialty mages?

It still won't work.
Now there absolutely no references to BG on my computer yet my comp still thinks its installed.

When I pop the 1st CD in it doesn't read INSTALL it reads PLAY.

When I click on PLAY I get a message saying "Since this is your first time ...

Ok here's my problem:

About a week ago I noticed that when I started BG up and tryied to load a game it would display the usual messages like:

Loading Game...
Loading Area...

Then the game would come up and freeze.
Then the loading screen would pop up again!

Clearing Game Data...
Loading Game ...

If you go get Firetooth early, does that count as visiting the first level of the Keep?

If so then there will only be a few statues due to low levels and you miss out on Foebane +3. :(

That would be a damn shame since that weapon kicks butt later on in the game. I guess it balances out but if you ...

I running a kensai/thief dualed @ lvl 15.

I max out halberd and get about 4 stars in THS. When I dual to thief I put slots in Staff, THW Style, and anything else you want really (I put them into ranged weapons).

I was just wondering...

I was playing as an evil half-orc fighter and was once struck by lightning in the middle of the day.

No bad guys or anything.

It just happened, could have been cuz it was raining but seriously, its never happened to me before or since.

Am I unlucky or did I piss the gods ...

Since when can I add thieving points to set traps?

I only get four, they are:

Pick Pockets:
Open Locks:
Find Traps:
Move Silently:


Otherwise I'd put them all into traps and hide in shadows since I can't find what move silently does anyway...

Maybe its cuz I'm dual classed?

Well when I tried laying traps in IRENICUS' DUNGEON after playing with my level 15 kensai/ level 38 thief I figured that I should be able to lay a few traps...

Unfortunately that was not the case...

Anyone know why I can't lay traps?

I keep reading post about people who set traps up everywhere and have enemies killed and whatnot.

Is there something wrong with my kensai/thief or is he just stupid?

His trap setting ability is at 15% and even with the mercykiller ring on he hardly ever get a trap to be set.
