Well I second brujah. Not only do I love their disciplines, but being a loud rebel is fun.

I'm currently playing gangrel, so I haven't tested their discipines yet but apart from animalism they seem pretty dull so I'm mostly a skill monkey (firearms 10 melee 9 when just starting chinatown ...

Do need the 1.2 patch to use 3.0 unofficial patch? Not sure If i have patched the game, I think it works OK without it (except SoL which the patch doesen't fix anyway).

Yeah this is one of the reasons I have never tried the unofficial patch. Too many unnecessary changes, some based off pure bias. For instance, I dislike the nerfed the jaimie Sue (which was really cool with 10 ranged). And besides, I risk new bugs or instability as it is official.

You may be trying the wrong door. Check the ones on the other side. You get the key card from the hotel receptionist or card dispenser in the back, and the penthouse key from Venus.

If all else fail, then yes use the noclip command. It's not cheating if you need to overcome a bug.

Try posting on the technical support forums. All I can say is: reinstall the game and try again.

That was actually quite cool. How do you use NPC skins anyway, and does it bug the game any? What happens when you meat Jeanette in game, does it just look weird or does it crash?

I wouldn't mind using VVs skin for example, or even just one of the random street girls.

The Balance, thanks a bunch for your tip it worked perfectly. I still had to try 3 times before beating the zombies even with noclip, but it helped alot and showed me which zombies I had to kill first before going back to the other gate.

As for the barrel trick... I tried it, placed the barrel between the same tombstones as the pic showed, yet the zombies just pushed it away, and some spawned right next to the gate anyway. So I still have to be 2 places at ...

Argh! U tried using noclip but when I close the console again the game is frozen and I can only move the mouse pointer, not the crosshair. I can't get back into the game after using the console. Why? Any fix?

More cash from Lacroix? How much? I think I recall getting somewhat more the times I asked for cash, but I was not able to ask more than normal.
