how do you do the emerald trick?

I know this sounds kind of like a newb question but i have played through the game like 2 times now and i just started over and i want to know if you get really good in the game does your face start to glow like Maze's? Also, I want to know how to do the cheat to stay 18 years old on the Xbox.

i need help on where to find alot of books for the mission that you donate to the school to get a silver key on the lost chapters, and i need help on where i can sell almost any book so i can freaking get rid of one to donate others.
help would be appriectiated
