I am intrigued and would like to see you elaborate more on this topic. What makes this build more effective than let's say...a soldier/guardian with dual swords?

I purchased KOTOR2 for the X-Box and I am at a loss between whether I want to play on the dark side or the light side. Which path is more rewarding?
