Go to Control Panel, Windows Firewall, and find where it says "change the way windows notifies me"... bla bla bla. You can shut up Window's bitchen about the firewall being disabled.

Does it make the HUD smaller? Because that is worth it in itself. HUDs can really make you miss out on things in the game if you aren't paying attention. (i.e. creatures/items hiding behind the minimap)

I would really like to know this too.
I thought it meant you wield blunt weapons better then lets say, swords if you have been using them more. But what "better" means or if that is even the idea at all I haven't a clue.

I have CE and went into the shadow ruins, got scared of a maze so I exited to go level up. A couple of icey spirits spawned so I saved (just outside the SR). I went and leveled for a few hours, saved over a different file and got on this forum to check out that maze.

Make sure you have the right level of magic for each spell.
Also, there are STILL spells that don't work. Yup, that's right, CE is still an unfinished product. I think they call it collector's edition because to get to this point you have an entire collection of patches ...

If you reinstal your drivers enough, it will work.
It seems that it WAS the updated driver that was bad. Even though I did reinstal the old driver I think it didn't delete the updated one. (it said "uninstalling old"... 'twas a lie.)
So remember kids, always uninstal your drivers ...

I have 1 gig of memory and it still shows up under computer properties. (I had a computer's mobo poop and didn't recognize half of its own ram)
I already have acceleration down to "no acceleration". I also have tried it on "standard acceleration" with no difference.
My sound card is made for audio ...

I use Norton Firewall and Antivirus (System Works) and love it. Yes it is a pain at first, but once you go to the firewall setting and find your program and tell it to "allow all" it shuts it up.
Also if you want all those little programs to stop running do a clean boot.

I got the dragon helm right after I got out of fargrove. I was laughing because I remembered some thread were lvl 30's were fighting over it. Sucks, my elf lady doesn't like it though. She says its too heavy for her little head.
