Actually, you find this proof that Sunry did it in the Republic Embassy computers, there's nothing to be found about it in the Sith Embassy to my knowledge...

The only things I can think of is either you are in the wrong cave, you need to be in Assumane, if I'm not mistaken, or else you haven't explored part of the cave, I did this quest just 2 days ago and had no problems with it, Killed Varona Nelas, took glove to Ilmeni Dren, got rewarded...
Otherwise ...

If you have the Hard Drive space, I'd suggest having 2 copies of Morrowind, one to try out new mods and whatever else you want to try out, and one for actual playing, that's what I do and it works very well...
Not using mods IMHO would mean you are missing out on wonderfull things, I'm not going to ...

That is exactly the reason I have 2 copies of the game installed.
One is for testing purposes and not playing, the other is for "approved and certified" mods and playing.
Needless to say, most mods don't make it to the playing game...

Why can't those point be from stats at 100?
I know I've earned an entire level with alchemy even though my int was at 100...
