LOL - Web 2.0 buzzword. Ain't heard that in a about 3 years. Web 2.0 is over, gone, past. We're already in to the next paradigm of the internet. Social networking. Social driven content. Facebook. Twitter. Google+. LinkedIn - and what not.

And funnily enough - a forum is Web 2.0. All the ...

I know this is an older thread, but I just happened to see it when checking the forums. I'd just like to reiterate the points some other people said and add my own thoughts on them. The game industry and the web has changed quite a bit since BG2 first came out.

1. New RPGs in general much easier to ...

BAB: You are correct. They are added together from both classes. Remember, your total character level may be 20 (at end game), but your individual classes are something less than 20 (such as 5/15).

Saving Throws: It's the same here. You just add the saving throws from both classes together ...

We run a number of statistical analyses with the survey data...political tendencies is one of the variables we examine (albeit a rather minor one).

If anyone else is interested in taking the survey (located here), it will be open ...

I haven't played this game in a while but I think I remember Shadows of Undrentide requires a level 1 character. You would not be able to play with your level 15+ character from the official campaign. Hordes of the Underdark is a continuation from Shadows though. You get to 15+ in Shadows and can ...

Can anyone please help me?

So you are using Vista?
Vista has a funky think called VirtualStore. Programs cannot write to the Program Files unless they are "run as administrator". You should be able to go into your BG2 directory and click on the button that says compatibility files. The baldur.ini ...

Werewolf does much more damage overall but it's all physical which means you run into problems in Hell with physical immune monsters. On the other hand, werebear has fire claws synergized by some of the fire skills in the elemental tree. Werebear has physical and fire damage so they will have to ...

The blockrate is fine, you just need some % faster block rate or a faster attack. As a bear, I think it's best to use a two handed weapon though. It just fits the character better. Ribcracker is a fairly good weapon for werebear and pretty easy to find.
I am playing v.1.11 singleplayer. For poison immunes I plan to use my skellies and partly mages (mostly cold ones for the slow effect). As for the guides... well, maybe I've been unlucky, but the ones I've read mostly dealt with skill placement and getting "godly" gear. While this is ...

You can use the ingame console to do all of that. Look at gamefaqs.com for the commands or look at the official NWN forums on bioware.com. I once got an error in a quest and had to create the quest item to continue.

I think it's just some global intuition all the NPCs have about traps because in most cases they are used by thieves and such. Bioware just chose to do that.

Never happened to me but you could just reload your save before the final boss and save your character there without any buffs. You'll only be missing a few xp points, and you won't need those in SoU. A character that has finished HotU will be way overpowered in SoU.

As a small suggestion Buck, I think it would be cool if you had like one specialist for each game you guys cover. Just to help out with the older games. Maybe you don't want to get into a bunch of management type stuff but it would be easier to keep things up to date if you had someone assigned to ...

It depends on what version of the game you're playing. If you're playing v1.10 or later it does okay damage in Hell but you can't solo with it very well do to Poison Immunity that some monsters have in Hell. Okay in multiplayer but pretty slow way of killing things. Read one of the guides on it if ...
