taking chartacters from NWN to the expansions

Hi sorry for the newbie question just bought the game with the 2 expansions and was wondering once you finnish nwn can you use your character from that game to the expansions.

I haven't played this game in a while but I think I remember Shadows of Undrentide requires a level 1 character. You would not be able to play with your level 15+ character from the official campaign. Hordes of the Underdark is a continuation from Shadows though. You get to 15+ in Shadows and can continue on in Hordes with the same character into the epic levels.

You can use your OC character for SoU, but the game will be unbelievably easy as its designed for level 1-15 characters. As for HotU, its a follow on from SoU so its designed for your SoU end character, but you can use the OC character without any problems.

wow, what a bummer... i thought all those expansions are made for high level characters
