Have you found the elevator rooms in the dungeon? The rooms are roundish with 5 short pedestals with gems on them. If you push on any of the gems they take you to a different level of the dungeon. If you push on the center pedestal you go up to the hall of wizards. You need to talk to the wizard up ...

The first two NPCs you find are in the dungeon. First you find a sorcerer and then a fighter. They are both the same level as your party should be when you find them. I found both of them to be useful characters.

Much later on you can pick up other characters. But since the total limit is 6 you ...

I started as you said. Once I got to 2nd level (Barbarian/Cleric) it got a lot easier. Seems pretty cool to me. I don't know how the solo character is going to do against some of the really tough encounters I've had with my party. I just finished the gem tower with them. But it should be interesting.

Figured it out.

My actual problem is that I had never taken the teleporter room up to the Hall of Wizards and talked to the people in it. I wasn't allowed to encounter the mages in the gem tower until I had been to the hall of wizards.

I'm stuck. I've went everywhere in the first dungeon that I can get to. I have doors blocked by Water Glyph, Song Glyph, and Cruel Glyph. There's also a door with rocks in front of it. I can't seem to get them out of the way either. I've went two levels into the tower and that's as far as I can go ...

I assume the giant stone head you mentioned is after the dungeon. So I collect all these stone heads until I complete the dungeon and then use them in the city.

What the heck are the Stone Heads (Idolons) I keep finding in the treasure in the first dungeon for?
