Wizard's Torc and Key to House of Gems

I've been running through this game for hours at a time and I'm pretty much flustered beyond apprehension. For one, I got a necklace called the wizards torc and I can't make it work. That's isn't what's flustering me most though. It's that I finally found a way out of these cursed dungeons that takes me up to the top floor (stairs on lower right of Halls of Light) and I get to a door that says I need a key. So I go back to Halls of light and kill everything. No key, go explore all of Halls of Stone, no key. I battered every inch of Main Halls and now I'm done with the Deep Dungeons. All this and no key that'll work on that freakin door. So, how do I open that stinkin door?

I have the Torc also (Missing Gem) I tried to go to the house of Gems and I fought the Golem there... but I can not open the door.

Where do I find the Key to open that first door in the House of Gems?

isnt it in the trunk in the room where you killed the golem

The stairs I took led me to a roundish room with broken spiral stairs that led to a second ledge. In this room there were some undead I fought but I didn't see a golem. The door that I can't open is on the opposite side of the room as the stairs I came up.

Have you found the elevator rooms in the dungeon? The rooms are roundish with 5 short pedestals with gems on them. If you push on any of the gems they take you to a different level of the dungeon. If you push on the center pedestal you go up to the hall of wizards. You need to talk to the wizard up there.
