yes, when you throw out battle standard its positive effects will be on you and your allies (within radius), and triumph's negative effects will effect monsters within its radius

i'm not sure melee is necessarily harder, its just a lot more item dependant. So if you make another character first to twink it out it can be just as easy or more so perhaps, but it does require the right stuff. I don't have the top tier legendary stuff yet but i gave my assassin just about all ...

ah you may be right, maybe its the staff of khufu for the memphis guy... if its the guy your talking about its just after the town of knossos before the temple. he stands outside the cave where the staff is dropped

that is what the sacraficial mod is, i've found several of them from mobs, clearly it works out better for a caster then a melee type but it's what you pay for 26% experience increase. Also the items i've found have all had a level requirement of 40, so 38 is low for that mod

does the + lightning damage% effect spells or only weapon damage?
