Some characters are more spellcasting geared, while others are not. That's why fighters can equip up to 5 weapons if I'm not mistaken and mages get certain number of quick spells. I think it's actually a keyboard glitch.. The keyboard automatically presses 5 somehow when I'm running BG2, hence it would pick option 5 all the time, usually ending things badly. Also I discovered this when I was trying to export my character, I couldn't type anything since 5's kept coming up.

Damn it...

I hate my curiousity.. I look up stuff and ignore spoiler warnings in games, most notably BG2 and ToB... I find information so far in advance, I'm just kind of walking through the game. Anything ideas to curb this nasty habit?

I guess I fall under that powergamer category... Not having ...

OT: I'm just getting back into this game after a long break, like when 1 GHz computers were still considered ridiculously fast.

When I'm running BG2 every so often I am unable to select the conversation path I choose, it works fine after restarting my computer but it gets on my nerves. For example I couldn't get the De'Arnise Keep as my stronghold because the script kept selecting "No Thanks."

Any help would be appreciated ...
