alright i decided to just use the console to skip to the next part of the quest, then i was aable to locate and kill the second spy and continue with the MQ story!

Hey, I am also having problems with this quest, Ive talked to the guard captain, killed jearle, and been through the cavern linked to her basement. My current log entry tells me to report the "seen stranger" to the guard captain, and the marker points right to him. but i dont see a stranger topic ...

With the Swords available as Anaximander and I listed them, if you are in Downtown the best is Knife and Fire Axe ...

Yes, you missed several.
First available is the mission VV gives you to kill the dancer Chasity, in the Sin Bin.
Second are all over Chinatown Sing's sells them, Glaze goons drop two.

Im looking for where i can..liberate.. or come across a bladed weapon? katana or something, a sword... is it only available later in the game? XP SP2
athlon 64 +4200 (X2) processors
2 gigs RAM
ATI RADEON XPRESS 200 series card
and way more than enough hard disk space...237 GB
