I suppose that a Druid would compliment a Sorceress a lot more than a Mage would, having, I'd suppose, just as many disruption spells, such as the aforementioned Entangle.
I did briefly consider a Bard that would multi-class to Mage at around Level 4, but then again, I don't know much about Bards ...

Party Help
After reinstalling my computer, and finally Icewind Dale II, I've found that I can create a pretty effective party, I hope. I'm planning on:
Human Fighter, 18 Strength, 16 Dexterity, 18 Constitution, 3 Intelligence, 18 Wisdom, 3 Charisma.
Possible Feats: Toughness/Strongback, Weapon Focus: Two ...

Going through the Ice Palace...
Hey there, just an old face... well, not that old, but meh, whatever...
My party for Icewind Dale II consists of:
Level 6 Human Fighter, Level 6 Dwarf Barbarian, Level 7 Human Cleric, Level 5 Rogue/Level 1 Fighter Halfling, a Level 8 Human Sorceress and a Level 8 Elf Magus... right now I'm at ...

I had that problem with Tales of the Sword Coast... I had to get help and delete all the Files of it on my Computer, and I mean delete. Not from Add/Remove, but from the Computer itself. I can't remember what you need to do to get there, but you have to search for anything containing Icewind Dale II ...

I'm not sure how many Rogue Levels are needed, but I'd get at least enough for Envenom Weapon. That skill is brilliant.
Another thing about Rogues is that they are excellent at doing the thiefy stuff, scouting (more so than Rangers, I believe), and while they don't have the hit points, they DO have ...

I don't care if I'm going to be scientifically incorrect, but I don't give a damn; if there is one, I'm going to this Hell place anyway, but I'm going to use the word planet when referring to a planet. No matter it's size.
As to what Xandex said, I agree. We can't not say that Pluto isn't a planet ...

What I did was send a Fighter to each of the Characters with any margin of goodness in combat (so Minsc, my main Character and Kivan, in my case), against their own fighters (So to the Cleric, Fighter and whatever was left that could fight), while Branwen went around healing everyone. I had Dynaheir ...

Concentration on the Cleric is only around 6, I think (I've been focusing on Spellcraft).
Yeah, I know about the Saving Skill Points thing. And yeah, I'll think I'll take a few Fighter Levels for the Rogue for that Bow Specialization and Dash, and Improved Initiative (I've always liked the idea of ...

My current party Level is 5 (and I'll Level Squat until I reach Chapter 3, I think...).
And I don't know about Weapon Focus, but it was more because I couldn't think whatelse to give my Characters. :p
Besides, my Fighter now has Greatsword Mastery and The Wandering Sky (I want a bigger sword!), so ...

Ashideena...? That's a new one on me (of course, I just go straight the game after looting Larswood for maximum Level, so that may be why)...
Anyway, the Spiritual Hammer counts as a Magic +1 Weapon and is a 2D4/6 Weapon, I think (It should be found somewhere in a Spell Discription on a Character ...
