The reason for that is the helmets do not cover your characters face, they replace it, seems the same with armor as well. So the only way to get a helmet half covering your face would be to have one already there when you select your head.

I picked up the crystal but mustve missed the stake

Im in the Asylum and need to stake...the guy (dont want to spoit it for anyone). I dont have any stakes though and cant find any in the Asylum.

So, are there any close by and if so where? If not what do I do, does anyone know the item code for stakes?

Solo'n a Berserker/Mage, 9/10 at the moment, man its fun. A little hard till I got to level 10 but its starting to get easier now.

The worst main character is the the character that is so weak, he/she dies when Irenicus is experimenting with him/her right at the beginning. Now that character my friend has no bloody chance

Considering CD2 is the 'play' CD, you have probably left it in an old CD Drive.

It runs faster with 3d Acceleration though, and its best to get rid of all your problems at least in my opinion, no matter how significant they are

Get reference drivers, the Creative Annihilator 2 is an nVidia card isnt it? If so get the detonator XP drivers

Just some general things to do which may help if you havent done them already...

Your not running defult video card/mb drivers are you?Update those both if you have a VIA m/b.

Also, as poster #2 said BG2 is a huge install, it would be best to defrag before and after you install it, that way it ...

Then isnt 18/00 pretty much 19?

What exactly do the other numbers on the strength statistic mean (eg. 18/00)

Which is higher, 18/00 or 18/99 and why? Also, 19 strength would still be better right? Why isnt there 19/00?
