Vanity question

Post by Kibblez »

Call me vain, but, is there a helmet that a bard can wear that doesn't completely cover the face? I think I spent more time choosing my appearance when creating the char' than anything else... and now I walk around wearing this tin can on my head!

Yeah yeah, I know it's not a big deal, but I wince whenever I zoom in to see something up close, and there I am with this big trash barrel on my shoulders...

Me neither.
Somehow a monk with a helmet on is just strange.

Who cares if it's makes you stronger or better protected if your character looks like he's wearing a toilet on his head?
?

I looked through, my book O'cheats and there are no helms to make a fashion statement by.

Looks like garbage cans and toilets, for protection. :)

My sorcerer wears a winged helm if I remember correctly, it doesn't look so bad. It still covers your face anyway.

The reason for that is the helmets do not cover your characters face, they replace it, seems the same with armor as well. So the only way to get a helmet half covering your face would be to have one already there when you select your head.

I was a little disappointed myself with the look of the thieves hood. When it is actually put on it looks like a metal helmet vs a hood.
