yes, it's the .tmp extension
the only bugs i found with the inn, is that sometimes, although he/she is in the inn, you cannot add a character from the inn to do a specific quest with
and sometimes a npc is not where it's supposed to be, it just vanished

converting your DS II party into BW isn't the problem
the bug that makes your last save game disappear is ;)
therefore to make sure that you convert from your last save game, go to your SAVE directory (C:\Documents and Settingsonly\"user name"\My Documents\My Games\Dungeon Siege 2\Save\SinglePlayer ...

i've been through DS II and BW at mercenary level
after installing AllSaves for DS II and BW i should be able to continue at Veteran
but now it won't save the game so i can't continue
any idea what's wrong?

don't the mages always use their staff to cast spells?
without a staff they make the same movement with their hands
that's what i noticed
oh and i think they sometimes seem to defend themselves when attacked
oh well, mages have their mysterious ways

just finished BW with the party i converted from DS II
when i met the 1st surgeon my party was all lvl 46
dual wielding melee (myself), Deru as ranger/cm (44/33), Finala as cm and Taar as nm
it took me 2 tries to see for myself what i had to do
with both surgeons i did the stairs trick
