I would suggest having the scientist they are trying to extract be infected with the zombie disease so that they have to go into the top secret lab complex, shich is of course full of zombies and nefarious nazi experiments, and find the surviving nazi scientists and compel them to make a cure. Then ...

Mage: Hey what's this? A book which tells where the staff of magi is and how to get it. Pretty weird how I wasn't supposed to get this early and have to do a bunch of retarded scroll hunting out of order (which also is incidentally in the book), forgetting about my sis Imoen and all my quests.

But ...

3rd ring of wizardry

While searching the forums I found a thread where a guy had three ring of wizardry. It is possible to pickpocket the ring from the harpers? What would you need just invisibility, or non-detection, spell immunity? Any help would be appreciated. Currently playing a six mage party and the extra ring ...

Saros, although vs save spells become weak by the end, they are very good as you play. I beg to differ about dominate. Yes it is weak by the end, but he is playing a mage. If he was playing a sorc then yes, just skip it, but dominating the baddy in the midst of weenies, allows you to clear a whole ...

In response to the proposed spells listed above as suggested, I wouldn't be so narrow. Spells like shocking grasp and firehand can be more effective and reliable than MM in some situations. Don't be afraid to use the touch attack spells. They almost always hit even with a mediocre strength(STR belt ...

A high wisdom is good in itself for saves and it enables limited wish, which restores all your nahal's, chaos shields, and sequencers. LW is an easy to get scroll too. Get the Golem book from level one of watcher's keep. It makes several hard battles trivial. Since you have so much exp when soloing ...

hmm, does the same thing with Jan. Wierd, the description says it does random effects. Doesn't seem random to me. Sorry bout the fuss. Seems it reliably casts all four spells at once for any user. I still have a new favorite wand though. ;) Mods can close this thread now.

I remember that the wand cast those same for spells, in sequential order as well, not for a wild mage however,I don't think, but never at the same time. You're sure this is correct? I didn't think that anything "specific" to a single class would be implemented.

Well, I haven't used it with a non ...

Staff of Power

Why no threads on the staff of power? Stun for five rounds with NO SAVE seems pretty powerful. You can always switch from magi to staff of power to use its spells, then switch back. It is available early. Pretty powerful. Allows you to not memorize Globe getting some much needed versatility at the ...

Great news! It appears the wand of wonder is implemented for teh wildmage, albeit differently from the core rules! The Wildmage gets the same effect everytime he uses the wand of wonder. It shoots four (yes four) spells in one round. In sequence, Fireball, Lightning Bolt, Stinking Cloud, and Web! It ...

Yeah, thats what I am talking about. It includes Well of many worlds and some others. It is one of the wildmages most powerful abilities in that he can use exceeingly powerful artifacts no one else can use. I just got the Wand of Wonder form the mindflayers so I will test it, but I am not holding ...

WAnd rechareg via merchants is not a cheat. Wizards are supposed to be able to recharge wands themselves in DandD. It is one of there most powerful abilities and left unemplimented. They are supposed to be able to create magic items too and magic items are supposed to be few and far between unlike ...

One last question. I have not made it ...

Infinite dungeons

ANyone tried the infinite dungeons pack? Is it any good? I am a little confused. Sounds like there is a campaign involved. I take it it comes with a campaign with scaling dungeons and a replayable dungeon spawner?

BAron Ployer scroll drops

Hey, upon perusing the scroll locaiosn at Mike's rpg center i was a little dismayed to learn that many good scrolls are supposed to drop at the battle at BAron Ployer's in the slums. unfortunately, I didn't get these scrolls. Key stuff like the greater sequencer and the like. Anyone have this ...

It's worth noting that if you duelclass to mage you cannot specialise unless you took basic non-kit which means you lose allot of spells.

Any character is viable. Some are more tedious, some are easier, and some require allot of time. A thief who specialises in traps and backstabbing, could ...
