Well, yes I know I want the saved games folder. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't a hidden folder somewhere that had important info to my game.... I noticed there is an automap folder and just wanted to make sure it wasn't a part of my save.
Thanks for the response
Chris

I have to format and reinstall my comp. I don't want to lose my progress in Divine Divinity. What files or folders do I need to backup before I wipe it please?

cursed abbey
I'm in the basement of the cursed abbey and can't seem to get around the traps right as I enter the level. I get electricuted very fast. Is there a way to disable them that I'm missing? Am I just too low level?
Please help
Thanks

I took the tips straight from GameBanshee's stat guides. I tried doing everything recommended as far as hitting him with time stop and this and that and the other thing, but when my time stop ran out, he'd just run out of sight and heal up to full health again, man did that suck, but I didn't fold ...

multiplayer saving not working
I have made several attempts now to host a game for me and a buddy. Unfotunately his computer keeps freezing/crashing and of course it doesn't save his character info. On the other hand, after he exits the game (due to crash or whatever) my character doesn't save either. I tried it last night. I ...

Underdark - is it a choice??
I just escaped the Asylum and Irenicus's minion (can't remember name) offers to help me to the surface or I can take my own way through the portal into the Underdark. Well, if I stick with the minion guy does that skip the Underdark altogether or when does it come into play?? I don't want to skip ...

ok, I tried the console command but had no luck. I tried it by itself and nothing happened. Then I spawned her in ogre form and tried the console command again, she lit up and made a transforming noise, but stayed in ogre form.

Missed out on Aerie
I'm in chapter 2 well on my way to three.....just gaining exp before moving on. I lost Nalia to her bastard fiance` and rather then get her back I thought I'd check out Aerie as so many ppl speak so highly of her. Checking this site listed her in the tent after you kill the big baddy in there. I can ...

Myth Drannor problem on Naga map
I apologize if this post has been done already, but I had no idea how to search for it....so, here goes......
I am in Myth Drannor, North of the wizards place. There is a naga there that asks for help beating down on the orcs and destroying their idol. Easy, done already. My problem is in the NW ...

I mentioned the point of no resurrection because the elf guy in the tree stopped healing/reviving me. I gave him the staff and he told me to come back any time I need healing, but with 2 dead guys in my party, he refuses any assistance at all. I'll try the first and second patches, but I'm doubtful ...

First off, it's the slowest moving RPG ever. Waiting for 4 zombies to walk to your party is grueling. I like turn-based combat, but SHEESH!
If you don't have a rogue and a cleric in your start party, you're screwed....as I found out the hard way...no cleric=lots and lots of death with no way back to ...
