I suspect it depends on which you use most often. Even if you use both, odds are that you'll use one more than the other.

cast slow time immediately before or upon entering the next map area. That will give you the time required to clear up the entry area. Then tell the boy to wait while you continue ahead to clear out the path. Kill the range hobbe first and don't allow any others to get past you.

saves will not retain you place in a quest, but it will remember experience gained and items acquired. It's one of the oddest save systems I've ever encounter and is easily exploitable for massive exp or quest items.

whee! up to 49,449 gms so far!

How about some unlikely places to fish. I've actually had pretty good luck in the cellar at the gray house.

btw if you're trying to stay on the good side, off the skorm's priests after getting the bow as that helps add your good side.

ideally it only takes one, but it helps if your character is well on the good side already and wearing "bright" armor/clothing

the same items you see around the shop during the day will be the items available at night. Going in at night generally means no one to watch you though.

Think of the guild as a Hero Academy and as such the curriculum would have to updated to met the times. An expanded "campus" to accomodate new skills to learned would make sense 500 years later. Maybe some labs or scenario trainers.

I suspect this would be handled via a cutscene. "...and so the hero started a family of her own..."

If they did allow pregant heroins to battle than miscarraiges would have to considered.

Guile will give you steal ability at lvl 3 and lock picking at lvl 6. Then you can pick your way into shops and homes. Use of these abilities is considered evil so plan accordingly.

The assasin's suit topped with the bandit cap makes for a passable ninja outfit.
