i did do as you said and saved before talking to darilinger and i have retried it numerous times, sadly when i talk to mr gribbs there are only 2 options one "i don't know" and "password" of which both give me the same response of get out of here, i guess it just wasnt meant ...

i have dungeon lords collectores edition but whenever ive tried to get into the slums its never worked.... i have freed darilinger and he has told me the pass word but the password never comes up as an option in the dialogues to to get me in, i have also tried with another character but so far that ...
