I really wish that they had brought arcane warrior, or battlemage into DAII.

Perhaps they'll up the ante once again for DAIII...

I'm looking for a Return of the King type Gandalf who wields a staff in one hand, and a sword in the other... that would be awesome.

I liked Bethany's Grey Warden appearance... she kicked ass in act 3 after she rejoined my party... it also worked out well, because Anders healing abilities were not there after I supported the Templars.

On a side note... I have played the game through three times ...

More questions...

I cannot find Fenris' sister... I know my journal says to go with Fenris to the Hanged Man during the day, but I can't find her.

Also, is there a way to keep Carver after Act 1, or is he gone for good to either the Templars or Wardens?

Another few questions that I have... in the first act, there have only been one or two romancing topics... I've just finished the rock wraith level.

Does this game have the option of showing hit values when they do hit?

I liked that about DAO... cause I knew that my mage could do mega damage on ...

I've finished all of the side quests, and right now I only have 41 gold...

Quest: Friends in Low Places is the only thing available before going with Bartrand into the Deep Roads... but I don't have enough gold. Why are there no Chanter Board quests, or bartender ...

I just find the locations to be very lackluster, and the companions not nearly as entertaining. I consider Awakenings to be a second installment as it takes place after the slaying of the Archdemon, and a second story in itself.

So taking that into consideration... does DAII have that EPIC feel ...

I'm about five hours in, still playing Kirwall...

I've recruited: Carver, Varric, Anders, Avaline, Elf Dude and Pirate hottie.

So far, the game hasn't hit me as interesting as DAO did right from the start.

I find myself skipping over conversations just so that I can get this ...

Is this possible?

Is there any way to import BGII portraits and speech files?

I don't mind if they don't have the interactions like BGII... but I would like them to have the portraits and speech files.

Do I need to download a previous version to have a group of NPCs with conversations?

Thats what I really didn't like about IWD2... it lacked the comraderie of BG and BGII.

Here I be... just finishing up Spellhold.

I slept and got the shapechanging ability with my main character.

In my party is Minsc, Edwin, Jaheira, Viconia, Imoen.

How do I get out of Spellhold?

Secondly... can I get any other party members after going to the underdark?

Thank you... now for some strange reason, the only time that I can see my portraits or menu bars is when I pause gameplay. I can't seem to figure out what hotkey will bring that back up.

I've had no luck pulling up a cheat menu... and I can't get this ruddy door unlocked. I really don't want to start over again...

So I've inserted the ToB disk to play.

Run the application.

I get to the main screen to select SoA and ToB.

I can select SoA with no problems with that ToB disk. But when I select ToB it says to insert the Expansion Disk.

It will go to my last saved games.

I have used the ToB disk to install the game.

Then when I try to load ToB it says to insert the Expansion Disk.

If thats the ToB disk, then I don't know why it won't work.

It gives me the option to play both. However when I select ToB to play it asks me to insert the Expansion Disk.

Looks like I'm having problems on all fronts.

I reached an area in SoA during the Unseeing Eye quest where I couldn't get past a locked door at the top of the staircase. So I figured... "hmmm I should install ToB and see if that downloads any sort of patches that might work." Still doesn't work ...
