I had the same problem . CTD immediatly when i talked to the cabdriver .

I tryed a couple of times to get past this "basicly unofficial patching version 3.2 and reinstalling and using the same safegame when trying" . that didn´t work .

Then i did put it to rest for a couple of months and tryed ...
