I don't see what the big deal is about Coran anyway. He's a lousy thief and a lousy fighter. A horrible portrait and an overraed 20 DEX. Granted the 20 dex does help his theif skills, but only a bit. The jump from 19 to 20 doesn't offer any AC or missle bonuses.

I agree, better a chance to hit than an extra damage that might not happen. Plus with the Long Bow, elfs get another bonus to hit. The game's archers, Kivan and Coran, both get this.

Personally, it just seems wrong to pickpocket Drizzt, or kill him. They may be the best weapons, but it just wont do for my paladin.

Anyway, best weapons...

Very nice. Belongs in every inventory.

"Spider's Bane" Two-Handed Sword +2, Free Action

Although, if you want to take on Drizzt (or cheat), I believe a bard can wear his Mithril Chain +4 and still cast spells.

Has anyone gottin' this? It seems kinda lite in the stores and I was wondering what it comes with. Seems to light to have the orignal manuals... And does it still have 6 CDs? Disk swapping is a real pain.
