Alternate solution....

OK - should have thought of this the first time.... :rolleyes: Used all of my adv points to pump up Vitality and so I wouldn't lose them when I died. Ran straight into the center, grabbed the Eye of the Sigil, quaffed a greater heal, turned and ran back the way I came in ...

I've finally met my match with a stinkin' gate! Trying to get the Eye of Sibyl and can't without a gas mask. The problem is that the "door" at #5 on the walkthrough is actually a gate and didn't open when I released Valdane. Can't find any buttons or levers anywhere. Ideas? I'm playing CE.
