When you have your inventory screen up just double-click on the book that you want to read.

So I've started playing TW 2 again and applied the 1.3 patch but the change log note I previously posted isn't accurate. Unlike The Witcher, one doesn't talk to an innkeeper to store items. As Greywulf has already mentioned, one accesses a storage chest now. I found the storage chest on the lower ...

Thanks for that piece of info as it prompted me to review the 1.3 patch change log and discover that you are indeed correct.

3. Item storage has been added. Players can now store items from their Inventory at inns. To leave items in storage or collect previously stored items, talk to innkeepers ...

I've finally started playing The Witcher 2 and shortly after finishing the Prologue and reaching Flotsam found myself overweight. I'm like, "OK. I just need to find the inn and then the innkeeper and offload some of this stuff." But no. I can't seem to find any place to store my excess items. So I ...

I'm not sure how I would accomplish that. When I launch the game and select New Game the game tells me Witcher 1 Saves Not Available
Character Settings Will Not Be Imported

EDIT: Nevermind, I see what you meant now. All I needed to do was to place a copy of my last save game from TW1 play through ...

I would share the number of orens that I got but can't seem to import any of my Witcher saves. I kept my save files from The Witcher but don't actually have The Witcher installed on my PC. It doesn't seem like The Witcher 2 will allow import of saves unless The Witcher is installed though. :(

I agree, that is good to know. Thanks for the reply Buck. I knew GameBanshee wasn't owned by UGO but I wasn't sure how the relationship worked between GameBanshee and UGO.

I'm interested in seeing how this whole thing turns out. My guess is 1UP won't survive.

IGN's acquisition of UGO to impact GameBanshee?

IGN Confirms UGO Acquisition -Gamasutra

Yeah, so, uh, I didn't see any other discussion topic about this and I felt compelled to ask. Will IGN's announced acquisition of UGO impact GameBanshee at all? This ...

I'm getting these "attack page" reports as well. Reported it this morning but it looks like webarh.com has hijacked some pages. Brother None's link takes me to a webarh.com URL and not a gamebanshee.com URL. Good thing I use NoScript.

You didn't say what kind of games you wanted to play on your new laptop. If you're planning on any serious gaming though I recommend staying away from Intel graphics solutions (like the one you linked to has) and getting a lappie with AMD or NVIDIA graphics.

Perhaps. It had only been up there for like 3 years or more I think. I just wondered if anybody else noticed.

Disappearance of BioWare's "New Next-Gen Game"

I noticed last weekend that BioWare no longer lists "New Next-Gen Game" under its BioWare Games drop-down on BioWare: Welcome to BioWare. Now I'm not at all sure when this went away but I was just curious if anybody else noticed or knew anything about this.

Since I plan on building a new computer within the next month I've wondered how to do this as well. Not sure if I'll complete my first DA:O playthrough by then so I guess I'll just copy the Dragon Age folder in my profile and hope for the best.

I prefer a really good story to a lot of combat, although I appear to be in the minority these days. Planescape: Torment's story really drew me in emotionally and I have yet to find another game that can do that, even though there are games I like and play more than once. Most people today seem to ...
