I do pay attention to a film's ending - it's an indication to me how much the film creator (usually the studio, in extreme cases - european cinema, for instance, the director) respect their audience and think of it as mature enough to handle a fitting ending, be it good or bad.

Being a IWD2 Newbie (got the game 10 days ago) and having played only through last weekend (and that because ms Ubik was visiting mom :D ) I can give only limited feedback. But I’ll try – I am a BG-BG2 veteran after all :)

The way they implemented the thing is what's ridiculous. Opening 100 chests in every area, to get like 200 gold, 6 potions and half a dozen gems, and maybe a club +1, is really silly. The boss chests (sometimes) make sense, but having so many random chests with minor "treasure" (my butt) trapped ...

Rogues are my favorite class as well and my current lvl 1 ranger/lvl 10 rogue is doing wonders in the late chapter 2. I've started off with an Elf, because the first time I went through the game (again with a ranger1/rogue xx, only human) I hit the ceiling way before end game, so I thought I could ...
