Yeah, I guess I thought the auto-spend was on when it was actually off, 'cos it's not exactly logical the way it's labeled. Anyway, now I've won the game with all the different endings, yay! And I'm off to play something less scary, 'cos this just creeped me out..

Thanks a lot for all your help..yes, auto-spend was the problem. When it's turned on, I can get more than 8 points of experience and it doesn't get deleted. But that's pretty stupid, isn't it, since you can't distribute the points the way you like. Is it deliberate, that the experience gets deleted ...

Thanks for the reply, though I found out today that the problem was elsewhere..I was actually in the wrong sewer all the time! I still have trouble with the experience getting deleted, though..have you got any idea why that might be?

don't know if anyone has asked this before, but I've got a problem with the "Fun with pestilence" quest. Tin Can Bill told me to go down to the sewers and then I guess I'm supposed to unlock the door in the sewers, but it just stays locked, my character doesn't start lockpicking it for some ...
