It is the best RPG of the year no doubt, but its what RPGs seem to be now, more action'y like the witcher and oblivion. I am really hoping Dragon Age brings back a more classic rpg feel.

I was bored and literally tried everything I could find. So far I think I might actually buy and try Loki as it and Sacred 2 are the only 'newer' ones to me.

But my list of tried is:
Sacred
Fate
Divine Divinity
Beyond Divinity
Silverfall (I heard expansion or whatever makes it better)
Dungeon Siege ...

There's a bug with the arachnid as well.
Be aware that Virgil will mostly try to heal you, which will fail.
These are the skills my technologist invested in:
Electrical, at least 2 for those rings. (Pretty much a must, especially in the beginning.)
Gunsmithing all the way.
Idem for Armoursmithing ...

Deus Ex is most certainly an RPG if any first person game can be called one.

The GBA, PSP and several emulators from the now extinct consoles have simply awesome team based RPGs.
