IIRC, it allows you to see invisible creatures -- only there aren't any invisible creatures in the game. (Probably there were going to be invisible creatures, but they didn't make it into the final cut of the game.)

I disagree it says it allows you to see HIDDEN enemies not INVISIBLE one ...

Has anyone ever reached to the level 50 in characters (Geralt's expirience level) ? Can anyone tell me is there any special bonus for reaching maximum expirience level ! I'm on level 43 , and I am curious is it worth of effort to get to 50 ... Thanks

When I took this game first time I have chosen the medium level dificulty and when Siegfried gave me the quest for the dead drowner tongues I couldn't find them at all during the game, so in my opinion THIS QUEST had some sort of an ERROR ...
