I've tried your suggestion and the errors still occur. However, I tried starting a new game and avoiding the 1st dialogue option, and was able to get past the zombies without a game crash.

After I passed the first room zombies seem safe to talk to, I'm safe for now I guess. I really don't know just ...

When trying to speak with a zombie worker at the very beginning of the game, I receive a game crashing error when choosing the first dialogue option. Sometimes it just cancels the dialogue altogether, and it even used another characters dialogue option for Mort who should never have known it ...

Interesting... I tried your idea with adding the game guy above me, but when I clicked run, it instantly froze and wouldnt respond so I had to close it.

I have also found that the CD works fine on another computer, so its something with my computer thats the problem.

Nope, it didnt work for Windows XP, neither any of the other modes. But maybe I did it worng, as I set the auto install and setup to XP only. Is there some better way to do it?

Or do I need to try to run the game through the admin password?

My problem here is that no matter what I try, Baldurs Gate wont install on my computer.

YES, thank you Mc! The ctrl+i method worked wonders, and Sarevok even talked to me thoguh I had to run through some of my other npc's first. So, I guess it must be a bug screwing with their responses.
