Version 1 of the Xan NPC Mod for Baldur's Gate II has been released at PPG.

You could try just installing the English patch to the game. That will change the text, although not the audio. To get the audio, you'll need to find someone who has the English version of the game and ask them to send you the audio archives, which total a few hundred MB all told.

Your use of the term "them" makes me fear that you're considering downloading the old, obsolete version of Ascension, which you shouldn't do.

99 out of 100 times, the problem you describe is caused by not properly extracting the mod to your BG2 directory. Make sure you tell it to extract to the directory containing the file bgmain.exe.

She does have TOB content, but it's largely cribbed from the Jaheira romance (really.) A lot more effort went into Tashia's SOA ...

SetGlobal("JaheiraRomance","GLOBAL",1) expires the timer... but sometimes there are other conditions which must be fulfilled, such as resting in a forest area.

It sounds like you've done at least one thing, probably a lot of things, wrong while installing the mods.

Like:

Always install TOB, if applicable, and the latest Bioware patch BEFORE you install any mods.

If you absolutely insist on running the "Big Picture" mods or just the old versions of TDD ...
