thanks guys, the problem was that i was missing the little bowl right next to the door to the room where you first meet the minotaurs, just like what was said above. that gave me 21 coins, and i ended up getting the boots of speed and the boots of the north. the jesters chain, while good, killed off ...

finding only 19 mithril tokens
in the asylum dungeon, i have gone over and over the two areas, but i can't find the last token to get me up to 20 so i can get the jesters chain. arg only 19. the only monsters i havent killed are the three clay golems in the upper right room. i snuck in with imoen (invisible) and took everything ...
