disarm traps: can i get thru blood mountain with out disarming traps?

if not, won't i have to start the blood mountain portion all over again, as you can't walk back to ferdok, then back to blood mountain, can you ? i thought blood mountain was 'sealed off', once you leave it ? thanks ps i used ...
