easy.. join one of the guild houses.. find a room with a bed.. usually there are empty chests in there unlocked. i store all my stuff in the chest and marked my spot there so i can recall too.

so if i need rest or gear its all there.. its not like a multiplayer game where it can be taken.

My skills in theses magics is around 16 now. I want to enchant some items and make some potions but i seem to fail on every attempt and lose items.

So my question is is there an easy potion or enchant item i can do to increase the skill? Or do i have to pay for training which is extremely costly ...

there is a quest npc northwest of caldera on the road he offers you a quest to escort him to gnar mok. Pretty easy quest and the reward is so useful.
