do I need to make a good swrod then? I'm currently at chapter 1. should I wait making a sword or shold I try to make one now?

I can't seem to find a good greatsword. I don't like that averything is randomized. I liked it better the way it was in baldurs gate.

I accedently clicked on the statue in the Yansirramus shrine and he started to talk to me... He gave me a quest. I am to kill someone in the cave Kora-Dur........

Is there someone out there who knows how to find this place. Because Ihave no idea where to search.
