I didn't spend much time renting places out, but I'm sure you get a discount in shops, and you can sell things for more. It's probably just to balance it out.

I got chest hair. I think it had to do with strength upgrades, but I couldn't swear to it. You get it on your shoulders and whatnot as well. It goes white when you're older, so you can't really see it. It just looks like your tattoos are fading. Maybe you should upgrade strength sooner to get that ...

Official X-Box Magazine. They're only rumors, though. They just come from a slightly more informed source than... well... me.

Press and hold the left thumbstick button while moving to sneak. Not that it makes much difference.

They made it 'Live Aware', so downloadable content may still be possible. Maybe they're just saving it for Fable 2, which they're already rumored to eb working on for X-Box 1.

It's pretty much random how much life you get back from the churches... both have a maximum of 10 years. I'm not sure you age 1 year per feat, though. Physical attributes seemed to age me less than some of the magic ones, I'm sure.

My character is 60 years old, he wears chainmail leggings and boots, and bandit gloves. He has the ponytail hairstyle, and until he maxed out magic he had Spiral Dementia, Dark Vortex, Firis Head, Red Widow, and the Tallin Clan tattoos. These were all removed in favor of glowing blue ones though ...

It isn't dissapointing, just a bit useless with no dragons or anything. It's a little excessive for bandits and trolls and whatnot.

I managed to get the requisite renown, but some unknown hero took the jobs off the board. I think they're just in it for effect.

You might have saved it while you were on a mission. You'll notice the 'Save World' option changes to 'Save Hero' option while you're in an active quest area.
This is usefull for multiple item cheats and gaining experience, but generally I didn't bother with hero saves.

I don't think the ToB character will make any difference. I often spawn high level characters just to import back and piss about with things.

I haven't played through for a while, because my copy is having problems of it's own, but usually if conversation hangs I just play back through. If it does ...

Yeah, demons and fiends. But Bhaal wasn't a particularly nice god, I don't think. It always seemed to me like Aasimar were touched by good divinity, and Tieflings were touched by evil...

Either way the Bhaalspawn come under one of those two headings, I reckon.

We're still bearing in mind that the Aasimar are the partial sons and daughters of deities anyway, aren't we? Therefore all Bhaalspawn are Aasimar of a sort; or probably more precisely, they're Tieflings.
Perhaps it's simply manifested more in the stronger ones, or just randomly in some... afterall ...

It's fully patched; I tried disabling the graphics card and it still crashed... I'm getting a few other parts tonight (memory, sound card etc), so I'll try switching them around...

Maybe it's XP, but I thought that'd stop it running altogether.

Thanks for giving it a think :)

Problem with pyrotechnics?

I've just re-installed ToB after installing Windows XP, and when I made it to Yaga Shura's Heart room, it started crashing. I thought it might be to do with the giant's spell casting animation for Brenan(sp?), so I killed him super-quick with backstabs and assassinations.
However, when I got to Imix ...

I remember my first game of SoA and trying to steal from Cromwell's smithy. The Malitia royally stuffed me, and not just once. It's a standard maxim of my AD&D career "malitia. are. nails."

Owch. I downloaded a tactical encounters mod that had things appearing around my hero. It's fine if I'm something like a Ranger, but I chose a Sorceror for my first game in a little while.

Don't get me wrong, the mod packs are fun, and a challenge, but god damn they can be tricky.
