I've done BG2 a dozen times or so, with full parties. This time I'm a totemic druid with no intentions of dualing. I want to have a party of three - which one to take with me (npc from the game, not those I make myself)? I'd probably need a tank and a thief. And what about mages?

I have soul gems with golden saints - how do I enchant with permanent (constant) effect? Is it possible? I used one golden saint soul gem to enchant pants with levitation (it has 400 charges) but its not constant.

I've received an order from the Sadrith Mora fighter's guild to find and kill a mercenary named Engaer (or something like this). They told me he is at the Tel Naga tower at Sadrith Mora - but I couldn't find him there. Where can I find him?

I chose to be a dark elf spellsword - a balanced combination between fighter and mage (dedicated to distruction, restoration & alteration). The thing that I like is that this class (because of its fighter aspect) gives you time to use and advance in the megical art without being killed all the time ...

Always hated those damned clerics. However, with the 3rd Edition new rules I had to try a cleric. Quite good and balanced:
1. Nice combination between melee and spells.
2. Strong but not enough to unbalance the game (I even got
killed a couple of times-lucky me...).
