blessings

Sorry, I didn't mean the Pilgrims PAth blessings but the ones you get from the little alters in temples. For example the temple in Vivec has alters to each of the saints and each one confers a different blessing. I am wondering what each blessing actually does.

Is there a description somewhere of what each blessing from shrines such St Rilms, St Veloth etc does (the ones found in temples) and secondly does spell absorbtion prevent the spell having any benefit. My character's sign is the Atronach and I have the feeling that the blessings are being absorbed ...

Isn't it a bit strange that if you are paralysed by a creature or magic that you can drink a cure potion or cast a spell to heal yourself but you can't attack the creature/mage that paralysed you. helm and shield

I am yet to find ebony shield or helm. Are there any good magical shields to find or buy?

I have just found my first set of ebony armour minus a helm. It was on a mage in the one of the shrines near Ald Veloth a couple of levels underground. Pretty tough fight even for my Crusader in Imperial Templar Armour wielding an ebony broadsword. I am not sure whether to wear this new armour or ...

Mage Staff and better weapons

Now I just have to find a nasty creature to use it on. My main weapon has been the Longsword found on the body of that jumping fellow at the start. I have yet to come across a better weapon.
