I talked to Jere Stoh in the Severed Hand
but i can't get the Tears of Suffering from him?
I have a Paladin with Charisma of 16 and diplomacy of 16
what am i doing wrong
the subject doesn't even come up

I just started playing Icewind Dale II
I have a wizard at 5th level, but i can't find 2nd or 3rd level spells for his spellbook
I am in Chapter One
Where do I find spells for him to put in his spellbook?
