I never understood why people continued to live out there.

I can never understand why people live on the beach, get thier houses destroyed then move right back...it boggles my mind.

with that said...i must be doing ok. I have lived here 18 years now. crazy. I do want to move somewhere cooler ...

I don't think it's so much of a need as it is a want. same reason people breed differnt qualities into different breeds.
